Spalding Park Skatepark
Spalding skatepark was designed and built by Maverick Industries and opened in 2010. It is a large all concrete park with street and transition elements and can be found in the green space next to Holbeach Road.
The street section here starts on one side with a raised level with quarter pipe on top and hipped bank leading down to the main body of the park. On one side is a double wave roll over that leads up to a taco at the end and along side this is a pump bump and a ledge. The other side leads to a flat bank that leads up to the top platform of the bowl section an features a double wave and hand rail. The back side of the street area also has a wide bowled corner that can be used as a speed corner or for lip tricks.

The bowl section here is big and split into three sections, that are all set at different levels. There are two speed bowls one with an extension that link into a rectangular bowl with a bowled corner that could also be used as a mini ramp.
Spalding is a great local skatepark and has a decent selection of obstacles and a creative layout given the space. The surfaces are smooth and fast and the bowl has a lot of nice corners and transitions to pump around making this a perfect place for beginner and experienced skaters alike.
